Our Favorite Turkey Recipes

 

Traditional

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Rub washed turkey with oil or butter and spices, inside and out. Stuff and add vegetables if desired. Cover well so drippings will drain into the pan. Bake 13-15 minutes per pound total weight including the stuffing and vegetables, or 12-13 minutes per pound in a turkey bag.

DO NOT OVERCOOK!

 

Deep Fried

Inject meat with cooking wine, oil or butter and spices if desired. Immerse in HOT oil (450ºF) for 6-8 minutes per pound.

 

Slow Cooked

Our favorite for turkey that literally falls off the bones: Oil and season the “traditional” way. Add stuffing or veggies, cover well to retain all juices, and bake at 200ºF overnight or about 30 minutes per pound, total weight.

 

Our Organic turkey is low in fat and needs less cooking. Enjoy!
